Cupount Dog Gate for Stairs - Easy-Install Mesh Gate for Doorways & Hallways (29" Tall, Fits 28–31" Openings)

Overview

The Cupount Dog Gate for Stairs creates a breathable, pet-safe boundary that helps you carve out calm, contained spaces at home. Designed with a lightweight mesh and sturdy hardware, it balances visibility and containment so you can relax while your dog stays where you want them.

With a compact footprint and simple setup, this mesh gate supports everyday moments—keeping curious pups out of restricted zones without blocking air flow or your line of sight. It’s equally useful in busy entryways, near stair landings, or beside open doorways where you want a tangible but nonintrusive barrier.

Key benefits at a glance

• Easy installation: Attach four hooks on each side and secure the mesh with four elastic hooks for a snug, damage-free hold.
• Durable construction: A strong tensile-fiber net resists grabbing and chewing, while sturdy hooks and tape help maintain a firm fit.
• Versatile placement: Ideal for stairs, doorways, corridors, and even areas near fireplaces, with mounting options for flat walls or wooden railings.
• Breathable and unobtrusive: The mesh design allows airflow and keeps the space visually open while containing your pet.

How it fits your space

The gate panel measures 29 inches tall by 34 inches wide, and it’s designed to fit openings around 28–31 inches wide. For best results, measure the installation area before purchase and reserve 1–2 inches of extra space to accommodate hooks and ensure a secure mesh alignment.

What you get and how it works

Installation is straightforward: use eight attachment points (four hooks on each side) and the elastic mesh hooks to secure the panel. The included hardware is designed to hold up to typical household use, with a focus on firm grip without damaging walls or railings. The result is a flexible barrier that you can reposition as needed if your layout changes.

Real-life use cases

• Contain a curious puppy while you prepare meals in the kitchen, without blocking the view.
• Create a safe stairwell zone during playtime or when guests arrive, reducing dash risks.
• Keep pets in a designated area near the living room or hallway for easier supervision.

Tips for care and safety

• Measure the area first, leave space for hooks, and avoid mounting on wallpaper or rough surfaces.
• Inspect the mesh and hooks regularly for wear, and replace any components showing signs of damage.
