Helpful installation tips

Before you install, expect a small initial gap between the latch and frame. Tighten the top bolts gradually to reduce the gap, and leave a small clearance (about 0.4 inches) to ensure smooth operation. If you encounter a door or stair area that isn’t perfectly straight, slightly adjust the upper bolts or re-position the gate for a snug fit. The U-type bolt option is available for cylindrical stairs but is not included in the box.

While this gate is designed to be user-friendly and non-damaging, always supervise children and never rely on any gate to replace attentive care.
