KISKIZ Retractable Gate 55 Wide – Indoor/Outdoor Baby & Pet Gate

Overview

The KISKIZ 55 Wide Retractable Gate is designed for busy homes with little ones and four-legged friends. Extending up to 55 inches, it fits wide doorways, stair landings, hallways, and even outdoor decks or porches, creating a flexible barrier that helps you manage activity without blocking everyday flow.

Smart, Space-Saving Retractable Design

When not in use, the gate retracts to a slim profile for easy storage. Unlike traditional gates, there is no bottom bar to obstruct passage, so doorways stay open and unobtrusive while you travel through with ease.

One-Hand Operation and Safe Locking

Adults can open and close the gate with a single hand. Once locked, the mechanism resists curious children and pets, giving you reliable control during busy moments.

Durable Materials That Stand Up to Play

The mesh is soft to the touch but tough enough to resist scratches from claws or nibbling teeth. It helps minimize bumps during play and provides a resilient barrier for everyday use.

Smart Fit for Any Baseboard and Easy Installation

A tall lower bracket adjusts to different baseboard heights, enabling clean installation without damaging trim. The gate comes with hardware and a step-by-step illustrated manual for a quick setup that typically takes just a few minutes.

Safety Standards You Can Count On

All retractable gates undergo testing and are designed to meet or exceed safety norms (ASTM and EN standards), offering reassurance as you configure play spaces and passageways.

Real-Life Use Scenarios

• Bottoms of stairs where you want a barrier that doesn’t interfere with foot traffic.
• Doorways or hallways that separate play zones from living areas.
• Outdoor decks or porches where pets roam yet containment is desired.
• Temporary gates for guests, daycare setups, or pet-friendly homes.

Care & Maintenance

• Wipe the mesh with mild soap and water; avoid harsh cleaners.
• Inspect hardware and locking latch regularly to ensure smooth operation.
