Little Wigwam Multiplication Square Placemat – A3 Times Tables Practice for Kids

The Little Wigwam Multiplication Square Placemat offers a tactile, visual way to explore the times tables. Sized at a generous 420mm by 297mm (A3), it gives plenty of room for writing, checking work, and building confidence during math practice. The design centers on clear, kid-friendly visuals that help learners focus on patterns rather than memorization alone.

Key design features

• Size: 420mm x 297mm (A3), providing ample space for handwritten attempts and notes
• Colored columns labeled for quick reading and reference
• Squares highlighted on diagonal to guide scanning across the table
• Numbers 1–12 are presented in the way students are taught to form them

Why it works for daily practice

The color coding helps the eye move smoothly along the rows, while diagonal emphasis draws attention to key multiplication patterns. With the 1–12 range clearly laid out, learners can trace relationships and see how products build over time, supporting both accuracy and fluency.

• Promotes consistent handwriting practice by showing the correct number shapes
• Supports self-checks as students compare their written results against the grid

Usage ideas

Use at desks during warm-ups, homework time, or independent math stations. The spacious format makes it easy to annotate, erase, and revisit a few problems each session. Its clear structure provides a non-intimidating way to approach multiplication.

Who will benefit

Ideal for early learners starting the 1–12 multiplication range and for caregivers seeking a structured, visually intuitive reference during practice. While results vary, the layout is designed to offer a supportive learning scaffold rather than a guarantee.
