Malier Metal Freestanding Dog Gate – 40"W x 32"H, Black (Indoor/Outdoor)

Overview

The Malier Metal Freestanding Dog Gate blends strength, versatility, and thoughtful design for homes with pets. Instead of mounting hardware or wall brackets, this freestanding barrier rests securely on floors, with wide metal feet and non-slip sheets that resist shift when a curious pup nudges it. The result is a dependable boundary you can place across doorways, stair landings, kitchens, or hallways—and adjust as your living space evolves.

Key benefits

• Sturdy metal construction with stable feet and non-slip sheets for reliable placement on wood, tile, and outdoor surfaces.
• Dual locking door with 180-degree swing provides secure access for people and pets.
• Extra tall at 32 inches to deter jumping or slipping near stairs and doorways.
• 360-degree hinges allow folding into compact shapes for easy storage and flexible room layouts.
• Flexible configurations with color options (black or white) to fit many spaces indoors and outdoors.
• No tools required for use—simply unfold, position, and adjust to suit your doorway or opening.

Materials and construction

The unit uses 100% high-quality thickened metal, giving a substantial, sturdy feel that stands up to daily pet activity. The design pairs a solid frame with support feet and non-slip sheets to keep the barrier steady on wood, tile, or outdoor surfaces. Built for long-term use, it resists bending and warping through repeated folding and repositioning.

Door and access

The gate includes a door with a smart dual-lock system and a 180-degree swing. Two-way access makes it easier to pass through with groceries, leashes, or household items while keeping pets safely on the contained side when you need to close the gate.

Size, height, and configuration

At 32 inches tall, the gate reduces the chance of pets squeezing through. The panels fold through 360-degree hinges and can be arranged to fit openings of various shapes. The line offers multiple sizes and finishes (black and white) to complement different interiors and outdoor areas.

Usage ideas

Boundary options include the top of stairs, kitchen doorways, hallways, or play zones in the living area. Freestanding setup makes it easy to reconfigure as your home layout changes or as you introduce new pets.

Care and maintenance

Wipe with a damp cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. Avoid harsh cleaners that might dull the finish. When not in use, fold and store the gate in a closet or behind furniture to save space.

Color and size options

Choose between black and white finishes to match your décor while maintaining a practical containment barrier for pets across indoor and outdoor spaces.
