Munchkin Xtraguard Dual Action Latches - 2 Pack | Childproof Cabinets & Drawers

Smart, simple, and versatile childproofing

The Munchkin Xtraguard Dual Action Multi Use Latches are designed to help families keep curious drawers, cabinets, appliances, and even toilet seats safer. This 2-pack of dual‑action latches provides four individual latches in total, making it easier to outfit multiple spots around the home.

How they work

Each latch uses a two-button release and a twist-to-open action. When not in use, you simply push the latch back to fasten, and it remains secure and out of sight. The adhesive mounting is strong yet gentle on furniture, so you can install without drilling and later remove without damage.

• Dual button operation for intentional access
• Adhesive mounting that won’t damage surfaces
• Secures cabinets, drawers, appliances, and even toilet seats
• Flexible strap that can loop around corners for versatile placement
• Two packs of two latches equal four total pieces for broader coverage

Real‑world scenarios

Imagine a busy morning: a child reaches for snack containers in a high cabinet, while you keep dangerous products out of reach with a quick, reliable latch. Picture a bathroom vanity or laundry area where a sturdy strap allows you to seal corners and ensure everything stays organized and safe.

• Kitchen: keep pantry items and cleaners out of reach
• Bathroom: secure toilet seats and vanity drawers
• Bedrooms and living spaces: provide extra protection around electronics and small items

Installation and daily use

Setup is straightforward: remove the backing, apply the adhesive, and you’re ready. When you need access, the dual-button action makes opening deliberate rather than accidental. Removal is simple and designed to be gentle on your furniture.

These latches are a practical option for families seeking thoughtful safety features without heavy-handed hardware. They offer possibilities for creating safer spaces while preserving the look and feel of your home.
