Overview

Meet the Roving Cove PreFit Broad Edge Protector, a newly designed solution for safeguarding straight fireplace edges and corners. The combination of broad coverage and a warm coffee brown finish helps the protector blend with living room aesthetics while providing practical edge protection.

Key benefits and materials

• Patented fast-install design with pre-taped 3M adhesive for secure adhesion and a tidy finish.
• Extra-wide 1.4 inch surface on each side delivers broad coverage along straight edges, with full 3M adhesive contact.
• Shock-absorbent dense yet soft NBR material provides a gentle cushion against bumps and scrapes.
• Flame-resistant to SGS standards adds a layer of safety for living spaces with heat sources nearby.
• Premium materials are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and free from heavy metals and SCCPs.
• Pre-fit edge and corner protectors are designed for straight-line applications and are not intended for U-shaped or curved surfaces.

Real-life use cases

Place the protector along the edge of a fireplace hearth where curious little movers explore. The coffee brown shade complements most decor, while the 9-foot combined coverage helps guard a long straight edge and two corners, offering a cohesive barrier that’s visible yet unobtrusive.

Installation and safety notes

• Uncoil 12 hours before use to allow the adhesive to settle and perform as designed.
• Clean the surface thoroughly before applying, then press firmly to engage the adhesive for a durable bond.
• Keep away from small mouths and avoid placing on objects with weak or easily removable finishes.
• Not a toy or teether; intended for straight-edge applications only, not for U-shaped or curved surfaces.
